In this episode, we'll focus on your voice and how using AI voice mode can unlock real time clarity.
And we're starting where all clarity begins with your voice.
Today's takeaway, you'll learn how to use AI voice mode to tap into flow and uncover clarity just by speaking what's true.
Have you ever felt that moment [00:02:00] where words just poured out of you,
where your voice wasn't filtered or forced? It just flowed.
That's not just rambling. That's wisdom. That's clarity. Trying to come through.
In neuroscience, this state is often referred to as flow, a space where your mind and body synchronize time melts away and you become fully immersed in what
You are doing.
When it comes to self-expression, flow, helps you bypass the inner critic and speak from the source.
That's why we're starting this week with voice mode, because the most powerful clarity doesn't come from fixing your words.
It comes, from flowing with them.
Voice journaling is exactly what it sounds like.
You speak instead of write,
and when you do it inside of a chat, GPT, voice mode or another AI app, it becomes a dynamic clarity [00:03:00] tool.
You can read your thoughts, your questions, your uncertainties, and then ask AI to reflect it back to you. It's not a transcript, it's a mirror.
Here's how it works. You speak freely, no scripting.
Then you say, can you summarize what I just shared? What themes or emotions do you notice
Suddenly, what feels messy, becomes meaningful?
What feels scattered becomes a signal.
That's the magic of voice journaling with ai.
Let's walk through today's practice together step by step.
So it feels grounding, not overwhelming.
This is your time to pause and listen.
You're not trying to get it right. If you're letting your voice become the doorway for clarity,
step one, open the chat GPT Mobile app.
You'll need the chat GPT app on your phone. It's free on both [00:04:00] iOS and Android. Once you're in the app, look in the bottom right corner.
Step number two, tap the headphone icon. This starts voice mode. A real time conversation with chat GPT. You'll hear a gentle AI voice say something like, hi, how can I help you today?
Step three, choose a voice. It's optional but fun. You can tap the settings gear and choose a voice that feels good to you. Calming, upbeat, British, warm, whatever fits your mood.
You can even name your ai. to make it feel more familiar.
Mine is called chatty.
Number four, if you like structure, set a timer for three minutes. Or just hit record and let your thoughts flow. No need to overthink.
Step five, start speaking unfiltered.
Here are a few soulful prompt options to spark the [00:05:00] flow.
Consider what's been on my heart lately that I haven't fully said out loud,
or where do I feel in flow in my work right now? And where do I feel friction?
If I gave myself full permission to say the truth, what would I say?
You can even say, Hey, Chad, JPT, I just want to talk something out.
Please don't interrupt me. Just listen and reflect after.
Let your words come through as they are messy, honest, real. Don't edit. Don't filter.
Just speak.
So what happens when you speak using voice mode? Well chat, GPT will usually stay quiet while you speak, especially if you say, don't interrupt me.
When you pause for a few seconds,
it may gently. Reflect back a question, repeat a word you emphasized or say something like that sounds important. Tell me [00:06:00] more.
So you can keep going or pause there
once you have spoken for a few minutes. Say to chat GPT.
Can you give me a quick summary of what I just shared?
Or you can say. Did you notice any patterns in my energy or repeated words, or
can you reflect this back in a few key words or gentle insights?
Then read what it reflects.
Take a deep breath.
Notice your truth in written form.
Voice journaling activates your Reticular Activating System, also known as RAS.
The brain's filter for what matters most. When you speak freely, your thoughts become clearer, your energy becomes more focused.
It's like turning your inner static into a signal,
and when AI reflects that signal back to you,
well, you get to see what your soul's been whispering all along.
There's a reason why this works so well in psychology and [00:07:00] neuroscience. Voice journaling taps into both somatic and cognitive processing. You speak from the body, not just the brain. And ai, particularly large language models work by picking up on patterns in tone, in rhythm, in language.
So when you let yourself speak and flow,
you're not just talking to a bot,
You're reflecting with a pattern, recognizing tool that's trained to help you find structure inside the swirl and that structure. It's often where your next step lives.
This is part of a bigger principle. We'll be returning to this week, lean learning instead of stockpiling a bunch of knowledge we never use.
We're learning by doing in small, timely, relevant ways.
Think of this as a just in time clarity loop. You speak, you reflect, you see patterns. You act with more awareness. That's lean [00:08:00] learning and it's how we build without burnout.

Here are three prompts to drop into after your voice journaling.
Number one, reflect on your why. What deeper motivation or longing came through when you spoke?
Number two. Tune into the felt sense. How did your body feel when you said certain things aloud? Did anything shift?
Number three, visualize a shift. Imagine using a magic wand to create one small change in your day or direction.
What would it be?
These prompts aren't just about productivity. They are about presence. And presence builds clarity.
So what do you do with what came out?
Consider number one asking chat. GPT. Can you turn [00:09:00] this into a document? Can you summarize this into three takeaways?
Then copy and paste that summary into a notes app.
Or Word doc your digital journal or your clarity tracker, which you can find inside of the starter kit
Then save the conversation thread and name it.
You can do that manually on your mobile device or desktop, and essentially you're saving that entire conversation.
Something like clarity thread day one. This becomes your first data point, your first breadcrumb, if you will, and we'll build on it as the week unfolds.
So here's your reflection question as we close.
What surprised you about what you said today?
What truth showed up that you might not have typed?
You've just started a practice that can change how you see yourself, not through pressure, but through presence
